Why the count changes when the size changes

Record both fields together

A retailer can switch the total count when a size button changes. Do not carry a count from size 3 into a size 4 price comparison or assume a larger size has identical contents.

Compare the amount you can use

A lower unit price on a size you do not need is not a useful saving. We do not predict when a child will outgrow a size or convert age into a fixed number of boxes.

Keep the reorder note current

Save the line name, size, count, SKU and date. A later packaging update can change the count without changing every word in the familiar product name.
